So..new car, fun to drive, yadda yadda...Decide to cruise up to edmonton for a couple of reasons, I was gettin paid to cruise around on a golf cart movin gatorade to tents with a few buddies, free hotel stay, free meals.and I have friends up there so we did a good amount of drinkin' and I got to make the first "road trip" in the new vechicle which they paid me 25cents/km to do. The drive up was all good (for those of us in the front, anyways haha) but after we got to edmonton, my stereo just cut out. I turned off the car, got back in and turned it on and nothing. The red light flashes as if the car is armed or something? Im assuming its a fuse but haven't had time to look. Needless to say, the 3 hour drive back without audio was brutal. Anyone had this happen?

Re: Sitting in Silence
yea you have to pull the radio and check the internal fuse.. funny thing was when i took out my delta to give to mike my stock radio was sitting in my basement forever i plugged it in and same thing as yours. i could even vag-com it but it woulnd't turn on.. i pulled the fuse in the back (which was fine) and put it back in voila deck worked again.. funny thing too was it didn't require a code after being out of the car forever

Re: Sitting in Silence
Mainly stupid **** like I noticed the ashtray slide cover was broken and was told it would be fixed on delivery, it wasnt. They left the jack in the trunk and when I went to put it back in its place, there was wrappers and a bunch of crap under there..trunk in general got a really crappy cleaning..weird squeeling noise from my driver side mirror when I hit a certian speed (<--makes me cause its all I hearwith no stereo! )REAL men use harsh language as self-defense

Re: Sitting in Silence
I didnt have a radio for 3 weeks, I think I could handle a 3 hour drive.
To be honeset, sometimes it is nice to hear the engine rev and listen to the car. I came across a lot of little noises that I wouldnt have heard otherwise, and come my frist service appt, they will be mentioned .
