Gatebil - Mantorp

Heading to Denmark / Sweden this week and planning on attending Gatebil in Mantorp... looking forward to some proper drifting, in particular some 5 cylinder Audi action.

I’ll post some pictures for anyone that is interested.

We are really looking forward to it - did the 24 hrs of LeMans last year, this will be totally different but every bit as good...

Nice Audi, very well sorted track car, came in 3rd and was running with Huracon. The Huracon won this race, Audi was third.

Tons of Volvo’s With lots of engine combinations, Volvo 5, 6, V8, swapped twin turbo chevron V8’s.

Forgot to put a picture of this Audi S1...



Rained out on Sunday so back to Denmark. Didn’t get a ride in the Gatebil Taxi. M5’s are amazing, stock and just getting hammered on lap after lap. Full cage inside and configured with race seats... 3 passengers. I didn’t take any pictures because I thought I was going in it.

That car with dual intercooler setup has a huge engine for such a small vehicle! Looks like modded cars, big turbos, burning rubber and bbq food, so a good time!

Diesel powered... been to quite a bit of racing over the years, nothing quite like this and would definitely go again!
