I hope that whatever battery technology we end up using will have elements so common that it won't matter and also that are easily recyclable and non-toxic. The solid polymer alkaline battery from Ionic is is the type of thing I'm talking about, another is the flexible salt batteries being researched here.

I'm sure it will look a lot better once the production version comes out. Its still pretty camouflaged in the pics!

Obviously not all dealerships have gotten the memo on how these electric cars work yet... Saw this on online yesterday and had to save it.
