Anyone using a fluid extractor?

I've noticed a lot of people online in the VW and Audi world are using fluid extractors to change their oil. For those of us with top mount oil filters, it seems super quick and requires little clean up.

Does anyone use one? What model do you use?

I have the Schwaben one, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Lots for MK7 owners are using them because of the new oil pans/drain plugs.

I used one last week, very quick and easy, down the dipstick port and pump it out....I did leave it a few min after each pump so the oil would pool again and repeat. Some degreaser through the unit and it was done.

I used one lots on my TDI, makes it quick. especially if you have a skid plate that is tough to get off.

I've been using it on the TT. But i gotat get under the car anyways to change the filter out.

I use one for both the Audi and the Porsche, works great. The first time I used it I even checked how much oil was left by removing the drain plug, not a drop of oil left.... I don’t even think about crawling under the cars for oil changes anymore.

Got the one from princess auto a few years ago, what a life saver especially with hardcore skid plates.

I bought one from a boating store down the road from 5th ave VW 100 bucks used it a bunch. Called a pela6000 oil extractor.
