I bet McLaren and Honda will do better than 2016. It wil be rough start, but they will get it right by the end of the season.

Im pretty pumped. Can't wait for the race. Who are your favourites/ dark horses for the upcoming season?

Bottas is my dark horse favourite. McLaren will implode and I'd like to see Toro Rosso (Minardi) make some gains.

I have been a huge Bottas fan for quite a while now, I really hope he has a great year. Im also hoping Hulkenberg has a good year and has better luck with Renault than he had with Force India. The fiancé is a Fernando fan so shes cheering for him and the McLaren Honda team (I hope they can challenge the mid field teams)

I think the Toro Rosso is one of the nicest looking cars on the grid this year, I was hoping they would dump Kvyat this year.

So no discussion on the first race, I have yet to see any of it (HK TV leaves something to be desired) but obviously know the results!

Hopefully there will be more passing in China with the big straight. Other than that... I'm just happy that Mercedes lost for once.

I was reading that it was hard to overtake in Melbourne anyway.
I am interested to see how the cars race in a few of the old world circuits like Monza and Belgium.
Hell I really want to see how they handle at Monaco. I remember a race many years ago when only a handful of cars finished after the beating they took there.

so 3 races in, what are everyone's thoughts so far on the racing?

-I am happy that it seems to be a multi team race for the championship this year (hoping Ferrari will take it).
-the midfield racing seems to be better than years previous.
-Hamiltons attitude has seemed to mature over the winter since losing to Rosberg (has had better team mate support for Bottas than he ever did with Rosberg, owned his mistake in Bahrain in the pitstops.

It seems like it is going to be a battle with Ferrari and Mercedes.
You are right the midfield racing is really good. Im really impressed with Hulkenberg.

Hamilton messed up in Bahrain. He would have caught Vettelif he was not being a goomba and got the penalty. I don't think Vettel won Bahrain, Hamilton lost it.

Alonso and Mclaren....bahahahahaha
