Full-time Auto Parts and Wheel/Tire sales position

We have an strong team of 8-10 sales, service and tire staff that work together to provide excellent customer service for a wide range of speciality parts and wheels/tires.
Are you a Sales Professional with a passion for all things automotive related? Are you focused on providing top quality customer service and do you have 2+ years in the car or truck parts and accessories industry?
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Provide expert advice on a wide variety of products from simple air filters and lowering springs to custom wheel & tire packages and all the way up to supercharger kits and full vehicle builds.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail is required
• Must be a Team Player with good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about automotive industry
• Keep up-to-date about the latest products of car accessories and related products launched in the market that might have potential sales opportunity, as well as new vehicles coming into the market
• Conduct research about competing products in the market and identify advantages or disadvantages.
• Monitor stock levels and give alerts for low level inventory to process ordering
As a Tunerworks team member you will spend your days surrounded by cool cars, high-quality parts, enthusiastic customers and a great group of co-workers! We’ve been supporting the Calgary scene for 16+ years.
Location: 5504 1A ST S.W. Calgary (close to Chinook Centre)
Work hours: Monday – Friday 8:45am to 6pm and one or two Saturdays per month.
Position description: Retail sales rep for high-performance tires, wheels and parts – Interacting directly with customers and our supply network, face-to-face, on the phone and through email.
Compensation and Benefits: Monthly base salary of $3000 - $3500 (depending on experience) plus a commission structure with uncapped earning potential. First year expectation is $50,000+ with additional income growth as your client list and knowledge base expands. A healthcare benefits plan is available after 90 days on the job.

The suitable applicant must have at least one year of auto parts sales experience and an in-depth knowledge of the performance aftermarket parts industry. Unless you have been employed in this industry or are very experienced in retail sales this job will have a steep learning curve. If you don't have direct industry experience but still wish to apply please tell us about your knowledge of the automotive high-performance industry and any personal experience you have with cars modifications and performance upgrades.
