I have 1/10 and 1/8 nitro Losi's and as much fun as they are I doubt I'd get away with using them in my community at any time of day they are so loud. I got some coarse stainless wool to pack the exhaust pipe and try to quiet them down a bit but haven't tried it out yet. I think you can buy plastic exhaust extension/silencers too. Might be worth a try.

Takes a man to apologize like that. It is likely his wife needs to apologize more than he does from the sounds of it though. I once had a problem house tow doors down from me. She had a teenage kid and a couple real younger kids. Had parties every weekend, making noise all the time. Some kids found pepper spray behind her house in the alley and not knowing what it was sprayed a kid in the face sending him to the hospital. I was then told about the drugs all the time from the house that lives across from them. No idea how child protective services never got involved. Well after so many phone calls over a year all the neighbors got together at the police station to talk about it. We where told we could sue the homeowner for loss of enjoyment of your own home. So the police told her our intentions. Turns out her ex-husband still owned the house. It was up for sale within the next two weeks. The new owners had to gut the whole house to repair all the damage.

And agreed, it takes a big man to own up like that. I wouldn't be too firm about her apologizing, Kenny only had to interact with her briefly; imagine being married to her. Kenny, buy him a bottle of whiskey lol
