Blah blah blah Euro...but did anyone else watch the thrashing/beat down of Mexico by Chile in the Copa América??

I am not sure that is even shown over here, I think you would be shot though for watching it over the Euro

England making a lot of changes for today's final group game, but lets hope it is more exciting than France's last match yesterday.

Lol, most probably. Well for those that didn't hear or see it. Chile beat Mexico 7-0 in Santa Clara, California. 70,000 spectators...65,000 of them were Mexican. By the end of the match all of the people in the stands were singing "ole" with every Chilean pass.

Yes it was a disappointing performance, lets just hope they end up playing someone other than Portugal...

Spain vs Italy in the round of 16 should be a good one!!

WOW.... Iceland beat Austria... Let me say that again... ICELAND.. WOW..
Great tactical manoeuvre by Hodgson in finishing second place to Wales.. who would have thought it..?

Blair.. I think just for this week you should put on a England shirt and do your grocery shopping at Iceland whilst humming god save the queen. While your at it, can you pick me up some Alberto Balsam Shampoo..?

Well that was a dreadful performance by England, but I do think they may have gotten ahead of themselves, but you have to like France's chances now.

Not sure who else as I think Portugal has under performed so far, Italy is getting stronger and Belgium seems good as well.

With the Brexit vote and this result I am expecting this country to burn itself to the ground now

Edit: Hodgson has already resigned for England, wow, thought it would be coming but mere minutes after the game...

So Chile have won the Copa America...again...against Argentina...again...causing Messi, Mascherano to retire and 5 others to contemplate leaving their national team.

Cudos to Iceland they played great.

I just don't understand how England did not get basics right. At around the 25 yard mark England ran out of ideas. They were stuck with taking shots from outside and playing individually. I hardly saw any decent crosses into the box and thy did not have the set up/players to accommodate that. It's likes they had no plan and had no structure to the team. The midfield was a mess. England did not deserve to go through playing like that. So many basic playground errors.

Brexit and now this...glad im not in the UK... Blair a song for you...(im still waiting for my Alberto Balsam Shampoo)

I keep hoping it all is just a cruel, cruel joke, more so the Brexit than the football but damn what a time to be an immigrant!!

At least some of the BBC commentators had it right, they mentioned being blinded by the Premier League in this country as it is strong because of foreign players and management, not the English.

What a tournament. ...what a game.
So proud to be Portuguese and see them finally win the Euro. This was a big day for us and history was made!!

Congrats to Portugal!! The overall tournament was a bit dull, I thought, but the final had some drama, but probably not what we had hoped for.
