what would you like your car to smell like?

i think car smells are important. especially with summer coming up, when your car roasts all day, and presumably you're picking up a possible romantic interest, or any interest, really. i wouldn't feel okay if i had to give an executive a ride home from work and i just show up in my passat all stinkin, you know?

anyways, tell me more about what your car smells like, how do i get a rich luxurious car smell that i assume a lot of your cars might smell like. air fresheners? soap? my ex wife used to burn incense in her ford taurus when we were dating. it was okay but i bet whoever drives or is picking parts out of that car now is like 'wow hippies'

currently my passat w8 smells like scentsy "white out" cause i got a tin of that, it's very christmassy and wintery. i want my car to have that rich man smell. last time i was in my car it smelled like french fries from a&w.

Usually leather products. Currently it smells like vanilla due to a Klima Fresh AC treatment. Not the worst once it fades a bit.

Nice, this smell is a pretty good smell, although it could be overwhelming in the winter maybe, i bet it'd be a good smell with the window open just a crack!

i forgot you can do klima fresh ac treatments. i didn't know they smelled like vanilla. leather and vanilla is a good combo, imho.

My car smells like an ordinary car. No weird/funky smells, no highly perfumed fragrances. Just normal car. ANY car smell is annoying, even if some people do think it smells good, there will always be people who don't like it. So if you are worried about driving executives home, i would just keep your car clean and odor free

MKIV: Crayons, and diesel fumes at times
Ferrari: Fumes (decatted, top down, back drafts occasionally send exhaust inwards)
Infiniti: Boring. Leather.

Wife has actually never sat inside my silver MKIV, too loud, too low, too smoky.

Diesel fumes. Cheap Pina colada air freshener. I smoked in it when I first bought it, which I whole heartedly regret doing. That smell is gone but I'm sure it did some damage.

I get the odd air freshener here or there. But they're usually more for looks than the smell. I just keep the interior clean and it smells normal.

Some guy gave me this in driven and it smells pretty nice, looks nice too.

Usually my car has a soft romantic scent (Satin Sheets is a fav) or something with vanilla (Sweet Pea & Vanilla is another fav). I do enjoy citrus and fruity stuff in the summer though.

Mk7 smells like candy because the previous owner was a candy junkie and there's tons of them in all the difficult to reach areas, need to clean them up before the repair work is done. Luckily I'm going to pull the seats out anyway so a big cleaning will be done.

TDI has an odd scent that I can't quite put a finger on, def a bit of diesel in there and my seats have been cleaned so there's an always fresh scent to it too, yet there some other scent there that is musky and masculine, maybe at some point someone dumped a bottle of drakar noir in there?
