    So harshhhh.

Take a look on stanceworks, there is a thread specific to this chassis with 100s of pages of cars with every wheel imaginable (there is that word again).

sometimes i wonder what happend to the ED i knew and loved... all Gerard is saying is that your request for other peoples wheel ideas is a bit odd.. there are 1000's of options out there and everyone has a different taste no need to attack him... figure out what you like and build the car for you.... the internet is full of information...

PS i think everyone is thinking it but no one is saying it...... regarding your other thread... for a guy that's been through like 4 of these "builds" with varying cars each of which led to the same result this is very ambitious... how do you know if you need over fenders for wheels you don't know about... why do over fenders and not a fender roll or pull would look a hell of allot better and no cutting is required so you can sell the car when the project inevitably turns out like the rest.

I think what he is trying to say is that this may be a discussion better suited for garage hangs with your close buddies just shooting the **** rather than a forum like this.

Right now with your car credibility and history this is just a dream, and by all means fulfill that fantasy/dream of building your imaginary dream car setup with wheels and engine mods, but it might be better suited for a different crowd until you at least get the vehicle in question. Right now it's similar to me making a thread asking what high priced wheels would look good for my bagged ferrari that i plan to have in my garage 13 and a half years from now

I know what your saying. I have had 3 car threads on this forum. I understand how it makes me look. But in all fairness I'm not looking for " other people's ideas" I'm honestly just asking what people recommend for wheels. Not to build my car in their head but what wheels are out there that I don't know of. I'm sorry if I didn't make the clear. But that's all.

            I'd go with round ones.

The square ones are not quite as functional, i know that some people are all about them and i'm sure one day they will be all the rage amongst the hipsters but i'd stick with the round ones for now.

This doesn't really compute sam. Reminds me of a funny old thread. Poke Like Mad HEllaFluSH But only oUtTo The FendeR

Sam if you are looking for "unconventional"... You will provably need to spend quite a bit of money. Practically every wheel has been put on a mk4.... again just look at the links that have been posted here.

If you want something crazy unique. why not have a custom 3 piece set made by WCi/Artinmotion/rotifrom. Or buy a cheap set of cast wheels powder coat them to your liking.

Buy a set of BBS RS then polish them! It's easier to tell you what wheels to not get(not because they look bad or anything, just because they're too common), go on Instagram and search #mk4 then you know what wheels to not buy ahaha

I think we have had enough of the jokes and cliches in this thread, maybe Sam can provide us with some ideas of what style of wheels he likes and we can inspire him with some photos or something...

                            Re: Wheel setup advice

I personally think that if you are going to buy wheels as an upgrade/mod you should wait until you have your car first. the MK4 gen has a good variety of trims/colors and even though you may find some good setups online that others have run on their MK4s, they may work completely against your specific MK4. That is what i have found in my experience anyways.

that being said, VWvortex and similar sites have some cool setups of what MK4 wheel setups could look like.
