Hey guys! I'm trying find some camber plates for my Jetta and I'm running Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, I just called Bilstein to make sure the camber plates will fit, they said it'll fit but 7/10 times the camber plates will risk damaging the shock shafts if I run too much camber. Currently the car has only -0.1 degrees of camber on both sides and the plates I'm looking at will increase at about 1.8 degrees at most. Should I be worried about this? And would -2 degrees of camber be too much?
As a reference OEM alignment camber spec for MK4 R32 and 337(same bilstein front damper) is -0.6 degrees +/-0.5
Also what brand rear camber shims do you guys recommend? Not looking for anything crazy just need to correct to factory spec.
And happy holiday guys!
