  • DayNite Towing to the rescue!

So my day started today with a frantic call from my wife. Of course I immediately assumed it was some sort of accident so was happy to hear that she was OK. Obviously, as a car guy, my next thought was... where is the RS4?!

Well, as it turns out, in trying to maneuver around a snowy parking lot this morning she managed to Quattro the car all the way over a parking curb. Normally this wouldn't be an issue however, there is a small ditch on the other side which hung the car up off the ground. After about 20 minutes of me trying to figure out if I could MacGyver the car out of there I said screw it and called in the big guns.

Ali from DayNite towing was there in a few shakes and before I knew it, had the car rescued and back on solid ground. Thanks to Ali, I can't even find a scratch on the RS4 which is more than I can say if I had tried to get it unstuck myself. In fact, had I if tried myself, I'd probably be posting a new topic "Wanted: Entire RS4 front bumper" here instead!

Moral of the story: Stay safe out there kids and have fun but please, if you do get into trouble... do yourself a favour and call Ali at DayNite towing 403.808.1898 directly and tell him the guy in the Red RS4 referred you. I guarantee he'll take great care of you and likely save you $100's as well.

Glad to hear everything turned out ok. Thats one area of service that always worries me. Us in Eurodrivers all know the best shops that will take care of our cars, but only a few of us have good reliable tow truck service guys at our disposal.

Glad to hear all is well in the end! And thanks for the lead on a good towing guy. Here's to hoping I'll never need him though!

On a side note if you ever have a hankering for some greasy Chinese food. Lemon garden is a sound option.

I would kill for some of that Chinese food right about now, it is quite different here and expensive too.

Glad the car made it out without too much issue, Deuce!

Thanks all. It's actually pretty when you think of it. If it weren't for that damn Quattro and snow tires... there's no way she would've ended up in this predicament in the first place! I've actually been bugging the wife ever since saying "I know you want a SUV honey but c'mon... this is ridiculous. Can't we just talk about it?" Haha...

Haha... for sure. I'm no stranger to the Lemon Garden. 2 thumbs up!

Well, here's to hoping no one else needs a tow this Christmas break. Keep it between the curbs guys and gals! Cheers... Rob.
