  • at the border storage

any one ever use these guys I've got a fairly heavy package coming in from the states and would love to save the ridicules shipping fee into Canadian (and on top of that the conversion) is it as easy as putting them as your shipping address and picking it up when it arrives?

if anyone has something waiting to be picked up there as well maybe we can make it a road trip!

Love that place! I ordered my wheels to there and also a whole bunch of other parts. If the shipping costs more then $60 and you have the time to go get it then I would definatly recommend them!

Which company/website do you usually go with for the boarder storage?

I never ship to Canada ever. I don't use at the border, but always ship to a border place. Summit ships for free in the USA.

              Re: at the border storage

I dont use At The Border Storage anymore. Nothing wrong with them, used them plenty in the past, but now I use Montana Shipping Outlet. Same parking lot, but MSO is open every 1st and 3rd saturday, is cheaper (by only a dollar), and will send you an email once your package arrives (just need to register your email with them).

Either way though, as long as you have about 80 bucks worth of shipping costs you can save, its worth the drive. I usually consider about $60 in fuel costs and $20 in food.

It's easy for a company to do that in the states! Shipping is dirt cheap and most manufacturers have free shipping programs as well

I would be in for a road trip! thinking about ordering an H-pipe from ECS. would save a lot in shipping.
