  • Air line antifreeze, how much

How much air line antifreeze do you put in your air setup for wintertime. Haven't seen any real specific amounts. Just 2-3 capfull type responses

I think I put 2 or 3 capfulls in my tank last winter and a tiny bit in each water trap. Never had any issues.

There isn't really a science to it. Well actually there is but it would honestly include way too many variables to make any type of easy calculation possible. It all depends on the humidity in the air, type of compressors you have/how hot they heat up, how often they run, how much air you run through the system on a weekly/monthly basis, how big a reservoir you have, etc.

Just use a bit in the bottom of your tank, and if you have water traps upstream of the tank i'd recommend a smidge i the bottom of them as well. Enough to have some liquid showing on the bottom of the trap, but not enough to reach the filter medium. A metric smidge if you will.

Can you get air driers similar to air brake system for car setups
I don't have airride just curious.
