Nice, and I see on UM's website they have the DSG tune for the MK7 GTI compatible with 3rd party engine software. I might be calling for an appointment tomorrow!

After living with the tune for a couple days now I feel like this is a requirement rather than a nice to have. No more race to 6th in D mode. The shifts are so smooth you have to watch either the tach or the gear indicator to even notice the gear change. S mode is also much smoother and it actually upshifts a bit sooner at part throttle. Before the transmission wanted to wait till after 4K to shift even with very light throttle. No more. D and S mode are usually only 1 gear apart now at the same speed rather than 2 or more. It's way smoother. Launch control is now actually useful. Before there was a good 1-1.5 second delay from when you let your foot off the brake till the car went. And even then I was getting horrible wheel hop, even with a BFI torque arm insert. Now the car launches almost instantaneously, and it has a bit more wheelspin but no hop at any of my launch RPM's (3500, 4000, 4500). I'm going to play with tire pressures to try and get more traction as they are at the factory recommended pressures. I'll let a bit of air out and see what happens.
