I've only given this a bit of thought, but the only way the oilers can make it 6 for 6 canadian teams in the playoffs is as follows: Preditors will beat chicago - given, therefore another tie for eighth with the oilers in which case oilers are out. So the oilers must get a minimum of one point against Vancouver- needing a tie. Then the hockey gods willing both st louis and colorado must beat nashville in regulation time. This will result in the oilers sneaking in by one lousy be significant point.
