      Re: Is this wheel fixable?

They fixed a forgestsr wheel for me. There was a bend I. The outer lip and a couple cracks to weld.

I got a call back from them saying that the wheel would need to be refinished AFTER they had completed the repairs and it would cost extra. I told them I would do it myself and I just wanted the wheel back. They absolutely ruined the paint and surface of the wheel where the repair was done

The wheel also cracked right beside the weld they did two weeks later. I took it in to get fixed again because they guarantee all of their work, and he told me that it had nothing to do with their repair and that they wouldn't be able to fix it.

I had Andre fix a wheel for me. I don't remember what company he works for but he's mobiile. There was a long waiting list to get it done but I really needed it back so he did it on a Sunday for me and I had it back the next day.

Another vote here for Andre @ Alloy Wheel Repair. I've had two different Volk wheels repaired by him (TE37, and Gram Light), both came back to me flawless. TE37 had major curb rash, lips looked brand new when I got it back. GramLight had a big gouge in 2 of the spokes and curb rash from a high curb, couldn't even tell which spokes were repaired after, and the polished lip was perfect.

And a negative vote for Alberta Wheel, I had a wheel with a polished lip to them to fix curb rash that a buddy had caused, so he took it there. They said it would take 3 weeks. I finally got it back a month and a half later, and the lip was not even polished anymore, they painted the whole lip with silver paint and it looked nothing like the other three wheels.

Yeah I don't recall hearing many good things about Alberta Wheel Repair. Looks like you should stay away from them Danny.
