  • Does this look repairable?

Damn it, 4,400km on a set of winters and I find a nail in one today... Where should I take it to get it fixed and will thy fix it? Crappy tire seems to be the only place open on Sunday but I doubt they will fix it. If I'm out the tire am I going to need a set of two with only 4,400km on them?

Well checked the tread depth on the tires. They are at around 10/32. New is 11/32 so I ordered one new tire. A mechanic friend of mine said a 3/32 max diff is about all he would do. 1/32 should be ok then right? $600 a tire so trying to save some money here. Fortunately it seems to be a slow leak. New tire is here on 03/18.

245/40R20 Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II 240 99V

I could get one through Canadian tire for about the same price in 10 days. That's all I could find. Hell I can still cancel if there is one local.

Why not check placs like Big O tires? they often have tires in like new shape but only 1. you may be able to pick it up for $50...
