  • Trunk mount 12V outlet install for those that do not have one already.

I have had one of these trunk mount 12v auxiliary power outlets kicking around, from an A6 Avant, for a while and while I was soldering in some fuel injector leads I finally got it installed. I wish the had one from the factory as it would be handy to keep my logging and Vagcom tablet all charged up. Keep my wobbly pops cold with the 12v cooler. I installed it in trunk just above the CD changer cover. Since my batteries are in the back it was an easy install directly to the rear breaker. I know these are standard on a lot of VAG vehicles and is a really nicely designed outlet. For anybody interested in doing this little DIY the part number is 4B0 925 071A

          Nice little addition

Myself I just added a power inverter to the back of my Golf, tore it all apart and only have the two plug showing! Now I can run my Impact gun when I need to work on the car at the side of the road lol

            Cool, Bob!

I really love all the little projects you do. Everything is done by you as you see fit. Very different from the typical bolt-on tuner path.
