Alberta Wheel repair, it was a few years ago. They fixed two wheels with chunks out of them like yours and curb rash on two other wheels for $500. I was lucky enough to still have the pieces from the wheel though, not sure in your case.
^Yep hence why "I suck" both times were accidental honestly. Today I hit a patch of ice while doing a slow turn. Hence why the mag is only broken, no deflated tire or bent wheel or anything.
FWIW and considering those are VMRs i'd just buy a new wheel and forget about fixing something.. take the broken one and make it a watering hose wheel
I was going to say this. Genuine BBS are one thing, VMRs are another. I'd feel better about a new wheel (even if it's a little more expensive) than I would about fixing it. Looks like it's time for winters!
^The tricky part is finding a vmr seller that will agree to sell me a single wheel..... Already asked for a shipping quote from a shop in CA, will hear from them probably tomorrow... Otherwise I am not in a hurry right now, getting my winter wheels either tomorrow or thursday. Meanwhile I will pay for a taxi...
Winters can't get here fast enough seriously.
