    Simple question.

Lake Louise Plus Cards or Sunshine Marmot Card?

You need to first look at the Costco discount cards. It can depend on how often you go as to what is the best deal.

I went with a Louise pass, couldn't pass up the offer, $550 early bird price for students.

At Costco do they just end up giving you a lift ticket? It's 2 for 1 I believe I'd like to just use them both myself on different days.

Louise Pass for me, I find overall better riding at Louise. I cant get over the fact that most days at shine its actually cloudy or overcast and because the best runs are above treeline you get a lot of days where you can't see a thing.

Park at Louise is better as well, and I find the time it takes to drive the extra kms to louise is the same as driving up the sunshine road and then getting on the 20 minute gondola ride.

                so many louise guys here...

I've had a sunshine pass for the last 4 seasons and i have another one for this season.i cant say i'm getting bored with the mountains. Yes it is often overcast/windy, but that also means snow and even when it didnt snow the day before... the wind clears the slate and the following day is like new. the terrain is awesome, lines are small or non existent. Plus when the snow is god at louise... its almost always going to be better at sunshine!

but hey, if your only buying the discount cards... get both and go wherever your friends are going!

also...eurodrivers ski day? i think this should happen

The fact that the Louise Card includes Revy and Castle makes it a no brainer.

I used to buy the Sunshine card but would at best use it twice. If you plan on committing to a hill then deff worth buying it or the season pass at your fav Hill. If you've been out for a while or maybe don't have much time to ride - just look on kijiji for Hill tix.
Last year bought Fernie tix for $45 (usually 80+ at the hill) and sunshine tix vary from $35-$45 ($75+ at the hill).
There are a bunch of oil/gas companies who buy tix in bulk and always have left overs so throw them on kijiji for half cost

This will be my fourth year with a sunshine season pass, the more i ride sunshine the more i love it, so many more "secret areas" outside of the regular runs to discover compared to louise, plus delirium dive and wild west!
