  • Motorcycle insurance / broker

I am thinking about changing motorcycle in the near future or this winter and i got a pretty expensive quote from my actual insurer...

I am fairly new immigrant in canada and none of my experience from back home is considered (even for cars ).
So i was wondering if you had a contact or a name to mention when it come to motorcycle insurances.

    Cheers

    Ps: i am thinking about a 2014 yamaha fz09 or a 2014 aprilia tuono.

Would you mind if I ask which country your experience is from? I was told the same when I moved here 10 years ago but there are insurance companies who will adopt your previous abstract.

I had the same problem. Did you live for more than 3 months in France after getting the license? If so you can force them to accept it. If not then it's no good.

When I got my bike I know I had to switch and they would only insure my bike with my car. But my broker took care of it. I think I am with wawanesa?

Contact touchstone insurance. Heard lots of great things about them and they also just have companies that only do bikes. Should be able to get you a great rate

I use Jess Lovas from Lundgren&Young, Echelon is my insurer, saved me over $1100 on my zx10 insurance, also saved my wife (new rider) $1200. My current full coverage insurance with same vehicle replacement clause is $516/year
I may appear to be nice, but don't be fooled, I probably don't like you

I use touchstone and they have been great so far. Way cheaper the. My previous company. They are saying bike insurance is way cheaper now, I'll be buying a bike in the spring time.

Pretty sure Wawanesa would accept your driving history from France. I'm sure some
others might too. They accept abstracts from the UK, for sure.
