I am just going to through this out there as a long shot. I know where you will be able to get one of these real cheap, stage 3 with a fresh 6 speed.

                      Re: R32 replacement options.

For what it is worth, I too was in the same boat as you; Looking for a manual awd car, after driving fwd cars my whole life.

I ended up getting a low km, fully loaded B7 A4 manual with the 2.0T and couldn't be more happy with it. Handling in the winter is unlike anything I have experienced before. It is like a mountain goat. I wanted to get the Avant but ended up with a sedan (I was picky for color/options) which left enough money left over for roof rack, new winter/summer wheels and a tune/high flow cat.

the best part about it... it has enough pep while still getting great fuel economy on the highway. Drop down to fifth and you can pass easily.

Seriously, I am stupendously happy with this car. I do not think you can go wrong with the manual 6 speed quattro A4.

Sure, the volvos are nice too but in the 60 series and above, I could only find the R models with a manual?
