Roadies - give me a bicycle recommendation?
I'm looking to get a couple of beater bicycles for myself and the GF to ride around this summer. A couple (like 10) years back I used to do a lot of mountain/trail biking but I haven't been on a bicycle since then.
We're going to be riding on roads but also gravel and perhaps some gentle dirt tracks (I'm probably a bit rusty lol...)
I'm not wanting to spend more than $200 on each so Craigslist finds are fine for me.
What should I be looking for in a bicycle?
Any brands to recommend or stay away from?
Any good models from a few years back to recommend to keep my eyes out for?
