Bolts backing out all the time, gaskets leaking, vband is easier (less fighting to tighten stuff down in tight spots)

V-bands have one bolt as opposed to 3 or 4, they don't use gaskets and the hardware doesnt rust to pieces.

Vbands are designed with heat cycles/thermal expansion in mind.
