Portugal played very undisciplined. Germany looked very good. Hat trick Muller!

Well, this took a rather unexpected turn. Wonder what other surprises and upset there will be this world cup!

Here are a couple of vids. First is the national anthem of Chile, second is a video of the sounds from Santiago when Chile scores their second goal of the game

Well Spain has looked pretty dreadful but Chile did look very good too so glad they will be moving on and hopefully they can give Brazil and Neymar's frosted tips a run if they meet in round 2!!!

England today, lets hope they can keep up the energy and pace!!!

As a Liverpool fan, I'm torn on Luis Suarez's performance today. Top notch performance, but i'm sure Liverpool will now be looking for a new star forward since they'll never let Suarez back in the country lol

                          They signed Ricky Lambert!

Can't say I'm surprised with the outcome though. Roy Hodgson did the same thing to Liverpool when he was manager. Thankfully Liverpool got wise and gave him the boot before he could do any further damage to the club. England needs a new manager and to not rely on Rooney's potential :(

I have to admit England played a little better then the last tournament. But Hodgson is making the same mistakes and has not really solved much of Englands problems.
England has no creative Midfield. Gerrard is no Paul Scholes, or Gazza. There is no player that can unlock defences in the current setup. They have the problem on the left. Terry Venables was the only manager that came close to finding a solution to it in 96 by playing a player who could run at defenders instead. England have Sterling but he's not playing on the left. What the hell is happening on the right flank?
England have Rooney but he's not going to score goals out of nothing all the time. He needs delivery, who's doing that..? England can't seem to create or score goals. The problem in the setup of the team remain. Either change the formation to work with England's strength's or pick players to solve specific problems in the setup. Hodgson has done neither...he has had two tournaments to get this right. He needs to go.

Did anyone see Cameroons game..? The red card and lazy defenders...? LMAO!!
                            Cahils goal OMG!!

Well unfortunately with Italy's loss today, comes the end to the hopes and dreams of England. I agree with the above statements though. England has a strong team, they just need much better guidance through the major tournaments.

Suarez, isn't going anywhere. They needed to sign a striker. Their depth is paper thin, and with the addition to European play, they gotta keep adding. Lallana is expected to be their next add.

Oh man, back in the day, the left side should've been Giggs, Scholes unlocking, Gerrard/Lamps beside the ginger & attacking, Beckham on the other side, Owen up top.

Manager? The FA in all it's wisdom turned down Mourinho before he fled to Inter.

                                The line-up yesterday should've been:
                                -------- Sturridge
                                Sterling - Rooney - Lalalla
---- Henderson - Gerrard (stevie subbed at 1/2 for Jack or Frank)
Shaw - Jagielka - Jones - Johnson (heck even stones over cahill)

Apparently that Cameroon defender that headbutted his team-mate, lost his father the night before. Makes alot more sense why he wasn't the most sound of mind.
