Damn thats rough! However considering I see a mountain in the background, I must say it could always have been much worse. Hope everyone is ok!

Yes could have been much worse; this was in November. My wife and kids lost control on a corner and bounced off of the rock face and into oncoming traffic. Luckily no one else was involved and everyone was safe.

Okay guys, my winters were on and wasn't speeding or doing anything stupid, hit black ice, jumped( I only had the choice to either jump straight over or flipping over) over two curbs (90kmh& 80kmh) and flew over the median(60kmh) on the highway in my jetta ten minutes ago, bent a tierod and got two bumps on my driver's side front tire, scared the living hell out of mom but we managed to get home in the storm. Be careful guys!

EDIT: I must say that I'm very impressed with the build quality of my jetta, and the companies who made those upgrade parts, I'm sure the accident would've been much worse with low quality parts, everything is fine except for a tierod and tire.

On a brighter note at least there was only 2 crubs and not a fents and some briks

They wrote the car off for the bumper and trunk lid?

I have seen mk4's written for an oil pan as well as a door handle
