The jetta went through two oil pans, and two flat tires, got rear ended too... The Mercedes also got hit by a sliding teenager in the school parking lot...$9000 repair bill..

No pictures but s4 was hit and ran in vancouver, shattered fog lights from rocks and a bent wheel from a boulder that couldn't be avoided on the highway :(

Ripped the wiring to a post cat O2 sensor probably from bottoming a snow bank/ice chunk. The wiring dragged against the ground until eventually ripped in 2. Now I'm paranoid and always check underneath the car for loose wiring :/

Oooo watch out for those ones man. I'm not sure if they fixed it for newer models but the mk4's O2 sensors were not fused at all and could easily short out the ECU and fry it if the wires touched

In other news i hit a deer in the Volvo, it was dry out, just stupid leaping deer. Only the bumper/fender/headlight even got touched though

                        Re: Show Your Winter Carnage!

Some definite carnage in here!!! I did have a few days of Toronto weather do some damage to a pair of shoes that are pretty much fit for the trash now but nothing like this.

We had no snow here at all this winter but lots of wind and rain and I did have my back yard flood 4 times, have a section of fence blow down and lost a couple tiles on the roof which lead to a leak and water damage in the bathroom and an electrical short too for my real winter carnage!

I hope the next few days of winter does not add to the carnage.

From the people that were already putting summer tires on........ I think there might be a few more.

Bingo. Anybody who puts summer tires on in March in Calgary probably doesn't have their head screwed on quite right (unless they have a second car with winter tires). It almost always snows late April/early May for at least a few days.
