nothing wrong with the 335i, throw some decent wheels on and your set. I like pushing getting custom finishes on wheels cause they can make a sos so wheel look amazing. Also switching wheels up brings interest back to the car.
Its a loss hobby, just do it cause it makes you happy and forget about the costs

Soon I should be hopping on with an oil company and making some money to put away for that goody I did some time with one a few summer ago, that's how I got the money for my 335 haha. If anyone knows of one who needs a Petro Geo major im all ears... Field experience is awesome!
You guys are right though... Keep the 335, it's a solid car, but spruce it up a bit.Last edited by ToXicXxX; 03-17-2014, 08:54 PM.

Re: How much is too much
I don't know about any of you but I've spent alot more on parts, maintenance and mods then I ever did on the cars themselves. The value of the car after is not even close to what I have in them, but does that mean I'm going to make the "smart" decision and quit spending on the car? No Way!!
Spending money on the car isn't about smart, its something I love. Trying to justify it is impossible.
I look at it like this. I could always eat at home, never splurge and never have fun. Sure I'd have money in the bank but I'd be bored off my ass and thats not fun at all. Besides my buddy just dropped $13g on some heads for his Dart. So I don't feel so bad.2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS. Daily. Far from stock.

The Porsche runs me about $1/km to drive since it is driven so little and I'm anal about it. Don't worry about the way your car looks while in school, your only true worry and focus should be school if your planning on going into a professional career. Save the cash now so you have money for maintenance later.Current: Golf R and a corporate lease nobody cares about
