Installed after market rear view camera and mirror on my 2012 Jetta. took me 3 hours

Is the camera aftermarket or OEM-? It does look like OEM unit though Oh and where did you get the mirror, if you don't mind me asking? Looks great!

Simple yet through wash today. I must confess I don't think I have ever washed my car for as long as I did today! (I think she is thankful)





Oh and I also started doing some touch up work on my hood chips with the touch up pen from VW...

Gonna let it sit in the garage for a few hours and let it dry before applying the clear coat.

While I am at it, i'll get rid of the stupid plasti-dip on my tail lights.

Eeeek did you use the brush?!!?

Tip if I may, even at wand washes I will break out my mit and just use the foam from the brush if buckets aren't possible.

I've seen a couple cars in the city that look like they are washed with an SOS pad.

Yeah those brushes are pretty nasty...
It's too bad people abuse them because when those horsehair brushes are kept clean they are way better than mitts.

Just pressure wash the crap out of the horse hair brush before you start on the car. Even pressure wash it as you are going. And make sure you also have pre-soaked and sprayed the crap out of your car before you touch it with a brush.

Tried to find the source of a rough idle on our mazda. Cleaned MAF, added injector cleaner, took it for Italian tune up, and ordered a cheap code scanner just in case the previous didn't work. Seems to be running smoother though after a good rip.
