volkswagen HAA key battery size?

I got my first car, a 2003 vw golf. unfortunately its the base model "cl," so it doesn't have any power options. anyways, im thinking the battery in the HAA key is dead. I havent found anything online about how to replace the battery in the key, or what size the battery even is... can someone help me out? heres what the key looks like if you dont know. https://www.google.ca/search?q=vw+ha...ml%3B600%3B600

i can't remember what exact battery it is, but its easy enough to pop open and take a look right on the battery.

There are 2 types:

CR2032

OR

CR1620 X2

Very easy to get to the battery. Separate key from fob using small screw driver then Separate the 2 parts of the fob and battery is underneath
