I tried one in the States - they are nasty IMHO. Imagine a donut completely dunked in sugar icing, hardening, then iced again. They can stay fresh for days because they are encased in a solid sugar shield.

Only, they need to add more sugar. Maybe a liquid sugar filling.

And if they can squeeze in some lard too.

Then I would be happy.

I've had them in the states as well, and they are just okay IMHO. I found that they are too sweet in most cases. I think that I will stick with tim's as my donut fix.

There is often someone in lower-old mac hall at the University selling them over lunch (about twice a month).

They are much better than regular donuts.

Mmmmm, texas donuts on sale at school right now, man I'm glad they don't sell those all the time, cause well I would become huge. I got free KK donuts when they were handing them out downtown, and I have to say I prefer Tim Hortons.
