Bad day hope yours was not one…...

Driving from some early X mas shopping to pick up my sons at school and was hit on Richmond road near 33 st today

Other driver starts yelling at me and my wife that I hit him, his lane ended and he pushed me out of my lane into oncoming traffic and is tryng to tell me I hit him…..really is this the quality of drivers people have become, he took off with out giving me his insurance or registration info..
Than while I am a the police station I get a call from school, one of my sons got hurt in wreslting practice, off to the hospital, x ray broken collar bone
I think I'll stay inside this week end.
Hopes you have a better start to yours…
Please drive safe, be accountable for how you drive and the things you do.
Just my rant as I am still shaken

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts.
My son will heal and bounce back strong as ever. I need to spend time with him so he knows he means more to me than my car or what happened, I need to set an example that bad things can happen but how we handle them is what makes us good people.
I was shaken last night but now I am down right PI$$ED that the other driver got out yelling blame at me saying "wow an audi thats going to be $$$ for you to fix"

He ended up at the police station after the Cst called his home and I think his wife must of called him and said that the police TOLD him he HAD to come in TONIGHT before they close to give his info to add to the report.
It was not a hit and run but that he failed to offer /present ALL of his info to me to before he stormed off in a swearing rant.

I remember breaking my collar bone as a kid, he should heal up fine. Now you get to spend some quality time with him and teach him about how not to be a douche and drive away from an accident. I hope the idiot gets a nice fine and it found 100% at fault.

I was hit on Thursday and am in for a new rear bumper and some minor work in the front. 'Tis the season?!

Sorry to hear about your luck and hope your kid heals up fast. Being that he's young i'm sure he'll bounce back fast! There's definitely no shortage or ignorant drivers on the road. Karma's a b!tch, i'm sure buddy will get whats coming to him!

Update on this, After realizing that fighting with the insurance company about the value of my AUDI is a waste of time and energy, after every conversation I end up pi$$ed off and mad for hours and didn't want to re-live a bad girl friend relation ship all over because that how I'd feel after I hung up. Anyhow settled at the $3179 car towed away and found a 2002 BMW 325xi manual trans for a reasonable $4750.
Got a SUMMONS to appear in court as a witness for the crown as the a hole that hit me wants to fight his ticket---Oh you bet I 'll do everything I can to make sure he is found guilty and gets what is coming to him..I figure the other side [if he pleads guilty ] for him must be something worse than trying to fight this ticket.

Shitty you had to walk away and pay but looks like you at least got FMV and an upgrade.
