Vehicle Shipping: Calgary to Toronto - Suggestions?

I've been relocated for work, and need to ship our minivan and car out to Toronto at beginning of December. Suggestions? I've looked into shipmyride and got a quote for $2500.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've heard train is a good option. Maybe something yo look in to. Cheaper for sure.

When I was shipping my car from Nanaimo, I dealt with Livingston and Hansens. Livingston quoted me just shy of $900, but I had to back out because the cars MUST have at least 6" ground clearance. Front bumper was only 4.5" so I wasnt going to risk damaging anything. Hansens originally quoted me roughly $1400 I believe, but they said they do their best to price match. After all was said and done, I ended up paying roughly $1025. Car came with zero damage, communication was great, and overall I was happy as a first time petrified shipping-a-car customer.

Would suggest getting some quotes from various companies and can definitely give a good opinion about Hansens

Hansens is how my S4 got here from Toronto cost about 1k and was no troubles.

Pick up and drop off both at the train yard you can pay more and get it delivered tho.

rent a pickup and rental a uhaul trailer, cheap!

I've had quote around that same $1,000 area.

You just have to make sure that the transporting company has insurance to cover any damages and potentially a complete loss of the car. You may need to get your own insurance for this transport from your broker if the transport company doesn't have it.
