I purchased the maple moose chips because I am a big fan of maple and the moose cartoon on the bag was kind of funny. Imagine my surprise when I ate these.

I spat them out right away the first time I tried them because I was sure they must have gone bad. After some searching I discovered the flavor is supposed to taste like that, moose flavor.

I don't know what kind of taste testers let this abomination go into production but they must have just tested 3 day old dead raccoon flavor chips before. That would explain how they thought this was comparatively a good flavor. Thankfully I don't have 3 day old dead raccoon chips, which has the unfortunate effect of making the maple moose chips the dubious honor of one of the worst flavors I've ever eaten, and I've eaten fresh octopus ink, raw snake and viper ice cream.

Jesus... And I thought they were just trying to be clever. For what it's worth the grilled cheese ones don't taste like grilled cheese.

Lol that is kind of funny. They have plenty of weird flavour chips over here (crisps they are called) like Cumberland Sausage, Thai Sweet Chili and I even saw BBQ Rib Doritos the other day.

I think it was Doritos that made cheeseburger flavor...

It was effed up because they actually tasted like cheeseburgers.

the lays caesar salad ones are pretty good

the grilled cheese ones are basically cheese/ketchup chips combined.. they are OK but nothing fancy

haven't tried the moose maple or perogies ones yet

lol I remember those, the hardest part was mentally making it through a bag.

Funny I thought that the flavor of the Maple Moose was right on. Tastes like a Northern Quebec Moose pot roast, heavy on the sweet and garlic. I have never eaten a cartoon moose so I am not sure what that should taste like.

On the other hand the grill cheese and ketchup should be renamed to "I think threw up a bit in my mouth" or "bile in the back of my throat"

Haven't tried the maple moose yet.

But I had Roast Chicken and Gravy chips once and they were right on for taste.

We sure do get some strange flavors in.
