To be fair some of the pedestrians in the first video deserved to die and the majority of the people in the second video (they all didn't look like scammers) should be taken out of the gene pool.

i wonder if **** like this happens in canada if we all had dash cams too? (well not the fake scammers) we actually talked about this at the meet last night.. apparently in russia if your a pedestrian if you get hit by a car its 100% the drivers fault hence the dash cams catching people

russian and eastern europe mindset is a bit different than canada when it comes to pedestrians. the law says the pedestrians have right of way, but unlike in canada where cars stop for people who still have 100m to the crosswalk, eastern europe pedestrians are still the mindset the cars have right of way from communist years they walk towards the crosswalk, and just wait until all the cars drive past then they cross. occasionally you will get some driver to stop but its very rare, or a brave soul that will just start crossing causing all the cars coming to a screaching halt, i myself drive in poland and i got used to not stopping for pedestrians, if you do, they just get confused why you stopped and so do the cars behind you haha oh well, plus its safer not to on a dual lane road, there are lots of accidents where the one lane stops but cars keep driving in the next lane over not seeing someone is crossing and not caring why the one lane is stopped and the person will get mowed down

another major thing is the law said you have to stop once they are already crossing, not waiting to cross, i think this is changing places like canada has it, so basically it was car vs pedestrian whoever touches the crosswalk first has right of way haha
