This ^^^ ...or... as I like to call it... Remembrance Day.

Will likely put the winter's on the wife's car earlier though... the 255's on all 4 corners of the RS4 are way too slidey otherwise. Fun for Daddy... not so fun for Mommy.

not at all, i just think it's stupid when people think that because they have AWD or 4X4 theyre invinceable in the winter but when the biggest issue is being able to stop and turn, not just getting going in the first place.

cuz its online and you cant tell if someones being sarcastic or not through text. And i deal with guys that have that mentality every winter so when someone says something along those lines i just think theyre actually that dumb, remember im from red deer and everyone up here that drives a lifted 4x4 think theyre gods gift to the world and nothing can happen to them.

If it makes you feel better I put the winters on the q5 two weeks ago, and the s4 has good all seasons. Don't worry I'm not going to slip on the ice and hurt myself but I appreciate the concern

I'm still curious as to how the Hakka 7's are going to be with the Quattro. Likely going to mount by late October or early November, I always find that's a pretty good time.

Hey Danno, I had a wobble sensation issue with the RS4 with my summers/winters last year. It's a bit pricey, but I had them rebalanced and an alignment done on the car. So far, she's been a buttery smooth ride at all speeds. Hope you get yours sorted.

                                Hey guys

have been lurking for a couple of months now, just looking for some recommendations on winter tyres for this upcoming season. I'll give you some details about myself and the car first:

                                - 1st time winter driver, i've moved here from Australia where we don't get snow, at all. I have done advanced driver training in Australia in muddy situations and will be doing more here for snowy situations
                                - I drive a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro, currently on stock 17" all seasons and i have got some 18" wheels for summer as well.
                                - Looking for some 17" tyres for winter, i have been recommended Bridgestone Blizzak WS-70s by a local tyre retailer, for approx 1k installed. Does anyone use these?

Can anyone else recommend something else for around 1k installed?

                                Cheers
