It looks awesome, when the princess auto pressure wash swivel starts to leak, I know where to get way better ones.

I love Robs overkill on things. Considering my hose reel is not aging well I might have to look into something like this though.

Hello Rob
Can you please advise me that what size of pipe did you use that act as an shaft . What size of bore is in pillow blocks .Also where did you buy the swivel fitting in Calgary . I have an extra rim sitting around and thinking to make one .will really appreciate for help . Thank you
I needed a reel to wrap up my garden hose, I wanted something quality, not one of the plastic ones that don't make through a winter without leaking.
Got a wheel, some pillow blocks from Princess Auto and a pressure washer reel swivel, pretty simple, the valve stem hole also worked great for mounting the crank handle.
A 20" is a bit big, when I make one for the backyard, I think I will go with a 16 or 17. But it's an idea for anyone who has a spare scrap rim kicking around.
