Curious as to who on Eurodrivers has switched from the world of 5+ blades to safety razors / straight blades? What are you currently using?

I myself made the change over not too long ago (few months) and I love it!

On another note. I am slowly starting to sell some equipment since I like it so much. So if anyone ever needs anything let me know. I will be creating a starter kit and posting it up in the next few days.

    Brands currently available are:

Bluebeard Original, Bronnley, California North, Castle Forbes, Colonel Conk, D.R. Harris, Dovo, Dreadnaught, F.Hammann, Gold-Dachs, Il Ceppo, James Bronnley, Kent, Merkur, MiN New York, Nickel, Niegeloh, Norton, Omega, Osma, Pfeilring, Progress Vulfix, Red Leaf, Vie-Long, Wilkinson

I can also email you a full catalog if desired

        Re: Old School Shave Supplies

        ^ Lol!

So here is a kit I made up:

        Merkur 38C chrome razor
Vulfix 660 Super Badger Shaving Brush, Medium Size - white or black
        Castle Forbes Lime Soap
Shaving Mug - white or black
Metal - Brush / Razor stand
        White Razor bank

Of course any of these can be excluded or replaced. Also more on the expensive side due to the soap and brush. But if you don't end up enjoying the safety blade (which is very unlikely!) you will still have a high quality soap and brush.

Similar kit sells elsewhere for $270

And just for comparison you can get into the game with a full 5 piece set-up for a approx $90

I have been doing the old school for the past 3 years. Lots of good info to get you started on the badger and blade forum. I like the bay rum soap.....

Hey Cool I had no idea about this post.
I shave with a straight razor since a few years now.
I like my Dovo Black star, D.R. Harris Arlington soap and aftershave and the awesome Kent Shaving Brush, with Pure Silvertip Badger.

Nice site, but right away I noticed your "bolin" stuff doesn't fall into a category, you should put all items into at least some category, maybe "multi-blade compatible"?

Awesome, I switched to the safety razor a couple years ago and I'll never go back!
I currently use a Merkur 39C slant sledgehammer and Personna med prep blades, BBS everytime.

The site is looking good Natty, might have to order some stuff soon
