  • Anyone frequent near Chinook Mall? Want to keep an eye out for my skid plate?

Sunday afternoon I was heading north on Macleod (curb side lane), and just north of Chinook mall I heard a weird sound, thought WTF was that??? But as I took off from the lights, I didn't hear it anymore, so figured it was someone else's car. Fast forward to last night when I crawl under my car to add some skid plate bolts, and the rear half of my skid plate is gone! LOL. I think I was sitting at the 58th Ave set of lights (I think there's a Bubble's car wash there??), but it might have been the 61st ave lights?

Black plastic, about the size of a 32" flatscreen. Covers the tranny in my allroad.

If anyone lives or works near there, can you PLEASE keep an eye out for it? If you find it and bring it to FFH this weekend, I will shower you with high 5's and a case of beer of your choice!

Any idea if you were you in the middle lane? There is a decent sized hump in the road which will smack the bottom of any lowered car.

I was in the right / curb lane. My car is low, but not that low.

Thanks for looking everyone. I really do appreciate it. If anyone does come across it, please let me know. I've got enough friends in Calgary that someone could come pick it up for me (or I'll be down 2nd weekend of the Stampede).

Heavy street cleaning in the works right now - good chance the city picked it up already....

Good chance that if it was ripped of that it is destroyed anyways. I do hope you find it though.
