  • A different way to raise/lower your car!

Saw this and nearly fell off my seat. It is called "spring lox" and basically they clamp onto your spring to either compress your OEM spring or expand the spring, giving your car some lift or lowering. Sold super cheap apparently and i can see where the average young guy getting into the car scene would be intrigued by this product, however it seems quite unsafe/dangerous and my guess is that it will wreck your suspension much faster than without them.

Have you ever heard of this?
What are your thoughts on this product?
    Would you use it?

I had a pair of these to raise my civic in the rear once for towing a trailer. I'm pretty sure they are bad for the suspension but it worked.

    Also the ride was godawful.

I've seen these before too, ruins the shocks...newbies that don't research blow their suspension from going too low!

Even cutting the springs will cause the shocks to EXPLODE...just sayin...

Agreed but at least they wouldn't suddenly shoot metal pieces and screws under the fenderwell.
