  • My first pictures with a M43/SLR type camera

I recently bought an Olympus E-PM1 and downloaded the Nik software.
This is the first time I've had this kind of camera and I'm still quite the newbie.

Just figured I'd share my fist couple of pictures that I decided were decent enough to post. I'm shooting in RAW.

I've been enjoying trying different modes in the Camera and playing around with aperture and focal distance, even though I'm not 100% sure I understand the technical part yet.

We just got an Olympus OM-D EM-5 mirrorless and it's been an amazing camera. Mirrorless cameras are awesome.

Some are out of focus so your depth is a bit off.

Digging the bokeh shots though! Especially the cat one

I have been using versions of the Olympus M4/3 cameras since the came out. Great format! One cool tip is to get one of the cheap Lens body caps. Cheap and one of the coolest quirky little lenses.

Seneal has them for 70 bucks.
