One time near Cochrane I saw this 1980s style blue f150 parked on the side of the road. As I slowed down to check if everything was okay I realized it actually appeared to have a police radar on the dash pointed at traffic coming the other way!

Yup they're actually gonna start trying to bust people with their new undercover/inconspicuous cars. About a month ago, a buddy and I saw a white Nissan Murano... yeah a NISSAN MURANO rip by with blue/red lights flashing. There was actually a housefire (in evergreen area, some of you may know about it) and the 'cop' car was headed there I think. But yeah a white Murano. We were shitting bricks.

Exact same thing happened to me on the anderson wrap around by the Tsuu Tina reserve, except it was a black Nissan Murano. I was doin maybe 10 over the speed limit, and a few cars before I caught up to him he flipped on the lights and started going after someone else. If I was going any faster, there is no way I would have suspected it to be a cop!

That reminds me, during last xmas I saw something like this turn on the lights and catch a speeder. I remember I nearly had a heart attack, lol.



On the other hand the vancouver cars all seem to look like this, The massive front cow catcher is usually a dead giveaway....

The Muranos are Calgary fire department chief vehicles, that's why you most likely see them responding where there's a fire...

Well if you're including photo radar I actually spotted a blacked out (really blacked out) F150 in Chestermere parked perpendicular to the road in a pull out (backed in). He had the back window on the passenger side down with the camera mounted on the back seat. You couldn't see it from the drivers side as you went by as the all the windows were completely tinted.

That camera was busy.
