I haven't made the mistake, and don't think I ever would. But lately I've heard of fuel delivery truck drivers filling the underground tanks with the wrong type of fuel most likely due to incompetence. This happened at coop after christmas and I believe it happened at the esso off of glenmore and Barlow today.
I'd imagine the gas station covering the cost of repairs, but what are the long term effects of this mistake in regards to engine reliability?
I might start to carry a Jerrycan with me and ensure I'm filling up with diesel prior to putting the nozzle into the tank
