It has to be frustrating to the designers who are asked to make a car with great mechanical grip and enough aero grip to crush a small country but with the minor issue of it will be running on used tires off a Toyota Echo so it needs to be super easy on them or they explode and fall off.

If the series went the opposite way as in super hard tires Merc would be loving it and i personally think hard tire racing is much more fun to watch as tire wear isn't an issue but grip off the corners always is.

i hear you....but everyone has to deal with it. it happened to be hot in spain.....shocking. i think some teams are whining more than others because their cars are harder on the tires.

It was interesting to see Rossberg open up the 4.xx second gap on Vettel after the restart and safety cars, and then all the sudden BOOM Vettel goes 2 seconds faster than anyone just for "personal satisfaction."

Strategy wins championships and races and all, but man does it get boring to watch all the time.

Monaco is tough as it is very hard to pass free of contact so if you are in a high points scoring spot the best strategy is really just to stay there. That being said there was a couple good crashes and nice work by Kimi to get back into the points after Perez was a little too aggressive.

Edit: It must be said that I did watch the race on the edited BBC replay while working on the computer at the same time, so yes a bit dull and really with the confines of the circuit even some of the camera angles are not as good as elsewhere.

missed the race. partied in vegas so there was no way i was getting up to see it lol! it does seem the tyre situation has taken a turn. illegal/legal tyre tests? winners and whiners blaming losers and winners. it's a love hate relationship right now for F1 and red bull is leading the charge in that respect for me. glad rossberg finally got to finish what he started though.

I just think of the days when Senna was racing, and if you were in front of him he'd dog you until you made a mistake and then take your place. That was the business.
