  • phosphorescent paint?

does anyone know if phosphorescent paint is legal to use on a car. I am thinking of doing my axis wheel centers with glow in the dark paint.

Not sure if its legal or not, but my wheels are plasti dipped with glow in the dark orange. Its cool, but you can only see it when its pitch black (IE when I close my garage door and turn off all the lights. Any kind of street lighting will not allow them to glow properly. Therefore depending on how much money it would cost you, I dont know if I would suggest doing it. It was fun, but I wouldnt do it again. (although I still giggle when I see them lighting up my garage haha)

I don't think it would be a big deal if you just did your wheel centers, but like pat said, you will probly need a **** ton of glowy stuff or it won't show with all the street lamps.
