i have a set for the sympony 2 in the b6 if they will work on your b5 you can borrow them.

have you tried using a flathead screwdriver with some duct tape wrapped around the end to prevent scratching to wedge the ashtray to the side to pop the latch?

yes, i can get it open, but there is some change stuck in behind it so every time i close it.. it gets stuck.
