Well thinking about what will be my next auto related trip I have come up with an idea for a new thread.

Please post up your automotive related dreams and accomplishments, whether it be driving a certain car or visiting a specific event or place, let’s post them up!!!

Done:
Tour Europe in a sports car
Drive the autobahn
Drive the Monaco F1 course
Win an award at a show
Visit Frankfurt auto show
Drove the PCH

To do:
Own a Porsche 930. Hope to have one relatively soon.


Also build a Volvo Amazon wagon with an LS3 in it.
And get a 1.8T in the Cabrio at some point

Go to Worthersee

Barrett Jackson Scottsdale, Im hoping to get down there next year. My dad lives in Scottsdale in the winter and is only a few minute drive from west world so all I would need to worry about is flights!

Some of my auto bucket list highlights so far:

-Visited Wolfsburg, VW Headquarters, twice now.
-Attended a Japanese Super GT race at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia with pit pass
-Toured a Nissan factory in Japan
-Attended the Essen Motorshow
-Attended the Paris Motorshow
-Been on the Autobahn

Dreams or items still left to do:

-Attend the Frankfurt Autoshow (hopefully September 2013)
-Attend Worthersee in Austria
-Attend a F1 race in person
-Drive a Lamborghini
-Attend Goodwood Festival of Speed
-Visit Audi, BMW, MB and Porsche HQs in Germany
-Make a trip to the Nurburgring
-Go to a taping of Top Gear

To do:

Rent a sports car for the Nurburgring
Attend a major international euro car show (Sowo, Wuste, H20i, Worthersee, GCVW)
Drive a supercar
Visit a euro car museum, any make would be an honor
Drive mulholland highway
There's a ton more i'd love to do!

-visit the Nuerburgring, while there rent a car to go around it.
-attend the 24 hrs of Daytona
-attend a Canadian F1 race in Montreal
-attend the 24 hrs of Le Mans
-attend a Nascar race at Bristol motor speedway - worlds fastest half mile track.
-drive my car down the Las Vegas Strip
-attend a major international auto show.
-attend the Goodwood festival of speed.
-visit Wolfsburg - VW headquarters
-drive across Canada - coast to coast.

Attend Viva Las Vegas in a personally built 1929 Model A tudor traditional hot rod. Not exactly related to this forum but there it is.

Attend North American International Auto Show in Detroit
Drive an old muscle car (69 Camaro Z28)
Attend a F1 Race (Belgian Grand Prix)
Went to the Louwman Museum in Den Haag, Netherlands (wasn't a dream since I never knew about it but it was an amazing place)

To Do:
Drive on Autobahn
Rent a car on the Nurburgring (hopefully doing this later this year)
Drive a Lambo, Ferrari and Pagani
Go to a taping of Top Gear
Do a complete rebuild of my E30
Work in the auto industry as a product tester (did 4 months at a parts manufacturing facility as a desgin engineer as a co-op student)
Race in some series of motorsports


There at lots more things but I'll keep it to just a few for now.

Done:
- Enter my car in a show

To do:
- Win an award at a show
- Build a MK4 R32 Turbo
- Restore an early Beetle and bag it
- Own an immaculate MK2 GTI 16v in black
- Build a RWD, possibly mid-engined MK2 as a track car, then win some event in it
- Build a Volvo 200-series wagon with a V8 of some sort... probably an LS
- Fix up a BMW E24 for my mom and possibly throw in an N62 or N63 V8
- Do a lap of some famous race track with a professional driver driving
- Drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini
- Drive on the Autobahn
- Do one of the driving schools on the Nurburgring
- Go to Worthersee

That's all I can think of at the moment, but I know there's more haha
