Well lets hope this is true just got the email about racing in Alberta this year.

Castrol Raceway -short track will be ready in late Spring, long track in mid summer.
May 25/26 school weekend. Short track
NASCC Track nights Thursday, June 6 and 20 Possibility of more Thursday nights once we know what our numbers are
June 15-16 Road Racing Events #1 and #2 (SHORT COURSE)
July 13-14 Road Racing Events #3 and #4 (SHORT COURSE)
July 27-28 Road Racing Event #5 and #6 (Possible LONG TRACK)
August 24-25 Road Racing Events #7 and #8 (LONG COURSE)
Sept 14-15 NASCC INTERNATIONAL GT CHAMPIONSHIP (LONG COURSE)

How is that Airdrie track coming along LOL!

Better than nothing, thanks for posting! Airdrie isn't coming along yet from what I hear, just a personal opinion... 0%-5% chance we are racing this year in Calgary :( Really really really hope I am wrong

Zero chance racing in Calgary in 2015. I hear they are still consulting groups as to what they want to see.

Castrol's top coat is on, or must be planned. I heard last oct/Nov they got rough pave and some guy was trying it out.

Any open racing planned? I don't have a car with a cage or a license or time or money.

From what i have heard the TOP coat is the only thing left for the track to be ready for lapping. They still need curbing done for racing and to be certified by Baron von dickhead and the FIA.

There is lapping sessions on those race days i provided they normally allow the lappers to go out while we are on lunch break. The idea is to lure people from just doing lapping to coming out racing.

Check out NASCC for more information as the dates get closer they will normally post a race/lapping registration and schedule for the upcoming events.
