  • leather

so i have leather seats, and have done some leather work in the past.
    so i used
    - saddle soap
    - a soft brush ( like a shoe brush)
    - a spray bottle
    - rag

    1 stray seat
2 have a bit of water in the saddle soap and with brush build a lather, the same as when shaving
3 brush onto leather again same as when shaving
4 wait until lather dissipates (5-10 minor so)
    5 wipe clean
this simple clean works great, and conditions the leather soft and supple and leaves it with a natural look and feel ie. not shiny and an odor

    i hope this helps
If you don't know what your doing, do lots of it

      Re: leather

I've heard saddle soap is bad for car leather.

http://www.autopia.org/ you'll find pretty much anything you ever wanted to know about automotive detailing on this website.

Basically when it comes to leather seats in a car, you really need to know what kind of seat you are working with, and alot of what you do will depend on the overall condition of the seat to begin with.
